Brno Juggling Convention is a three-day-long weekend convention in a unique venue of the university campus of the Masaryk University, where fans of juggling, poi, partner acrobatics, aerials and other new circus disciplines gather and share their experience and skills. Traditionally, BJC includes workshops of invited artists and teachers, open stage, gala show with international stars, juggling games and since 2016 a successful fight night combat tournament as well. Therefore, not only those who like juggling as a leisure time activity, but also professionals find many new inspirations here. BJC is the only event of this kind in the Czech Republic at the moment and after the first two editions in 2013 and 2014 it takes place every two years, usually in February.

The idea of BJC comes from a juggler, actress and teacher Dasha Heiland Travnikova (KUFR Theatre, Faculty of Sports Studies MU) who – being inspired by conventions around Europe she had visited – decided to organize a similar event in Brno and to bring to life the beautiful venues of university campus gyms.
